ENT Practitioner Dr. Cara Watts
After her undergraduate studies at Yale University, Dr. Watts earned her medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency with the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, where she received awards for resident research and teaching. She was also recognized for award winning research study at UVA. Dr. Watts is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Passionate about the ENT field for its broad patient population, immense subject diversity, and opportunity to contribute in both the clinical and surgical settings, Dr. Watts holds herself to an extremely high standard when it comes to her medical practice. Believing that the connection between doctor and patient is paramount, she works hard to form positive, productive relationships with her patients. Dr. Watts specializes in all aspects of general otolaryngology, and has special interests in allergy management, salivary gland surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and general pediatric ENT.
A local native of Virginia Beach, the beach remains Dr. Watts' favorite aspect of the Tidewater area. In her free time, she enjoys reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
